Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information this website collects and what we do with it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

xProcess3D is part of the Performance and Expertise Research Centre at Macquarie University, Sydney. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the xProcess3D team.

This policy covers this website and our onboarding portal at portal.xprocess3d.com. It does not cover our software (xField, xMark, xStream, xCalibrate and xPrism). An organisation that uses our software does so under a separate agreement with us.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your organisation, what you are interested in, your message, and any optional details you choose to add, such as your role, sport or country. If you email us, we collect your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

If we invite your organisation to the onboarding portal, we hold the organisation and contact details entered there, and a record of any document signed in it, including the signer's name, the time and the IP address. The portal does not hold any data about players.

Our hosting provider may record standard technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

The site is for adults. Please don't send us information about anyone under 18.

Field-trial footage on this site was recorded with permission, and faces are blurred wherever someone could be identified. If you think you appear in it and would like it removed, email us and we will take it down.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if your organisation works with us, to manage that relationship. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell your information.

We don't currently use AI tools on enquiries. If we start, AI service providers may help summarise an enquiry or draft a reply, and a person will review every reply before it is sent.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that host the site, store enquiries and deliver our email. They handle it only to provide their service to us. Enquiries are stored in Sydney, Australia. Some providers may also process information overseas, mainly in the United States and Japan. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure, and only the people who need it can see it. We keep an enquiry for no more than two years after our last contact with you. Signed documents are kept for seven years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@xprocess3d.com and we will reply within 30 days.

If you think we have mishandled your information, please email us first. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
